Kathryn Luella (Scarberry) Bailey

Kathryn Luella Bailey went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 31, 2015 while in the presence of her family at her home in Nashoba, Oklahoma at the age of 74.

Kathryn was born May 8, 1941 in Nashoba to Ellis and Lela Faye (Welker) Scarberry. She married Bill Bailey December 5, 1957 in Anadarko, Oklahoma and was a devoted wife and mother and loved caring for her family. She loved the Lord and was a devoted member of the Nolia Assembly of God Church. In her spare time she enjoyed working puzzles, quilting, being outdoors and camping.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Patsy Potter and Edith DeWitt and two brothers, Haskell Erwin and Ellis Gene Scarberry.

She leaves behind a loving family which includes her husband of 57 years Bill Bailey of the home, three sons, Billy Gene Baily of Nashoba, Glenn and Colette Bailey of Nashoba and David and Magen Bailey of Atoka, grandchildren, Fallon & Allen Couch of Stigler, Shutana Dashay Bailey of Mingus, Texas, Lyndsi & Chris Bradley of Nashoba, Laura Bailey of Gordon, Texas, Dustin Bailey of Wister, Caleb Bailey of Wister, Cameron Bailey of Hugo and Landry Bailey of Atoka as well as five great-grandchildren and a sister Verna Sue & Larry Womack of Nashoba, Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, her church family and friends.

Pallbearers for the service will include: Stanley Scarberry, Don Ellis Scarberry, Shane Scarberry, John Scarberry, Keith Watkins and Jimmy Arms.

Services will be held 10am Monday, August 3rd, 2015 at the Nolia Assembly of God church with Rev. Conley Wright and Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Interment will follow at the Nolia Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service of Clayton.
