Curtis Lee Battice, Sr. was born to William & Sophine (Graham) Battice June 22, 1942 in Antlers, Oklahoma. He passed from this life, October 20, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 66. 

Curtis enjoyed spending time with his dog and was a self-employed carpenter who worked in residential construction. He also served in the United States Army Reserves for eight years. 

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents: William & Sophine Battice; a half-sister: Carrie Kincaid; half-brother: Joel Baker; granddaughter: Bailey Battice; as well as a niece: Carolyn Bryant. 

He is survived by three children: Curtis Battice, Jr. & wife, Karla of Antlers, Leslie Anderson & husband, Roger of Shawnee, Oklahoma, & Sterling Battice & wife Jo Lee of Durant, Oklahoma; two brothers: Billy Ray & Roy Battice of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren: Taylor, Erica, & Trevor Battice of Antlers; Tallie, Christian, Caitlin, & Ryann Anderson of Shawnee, Oklahoma; & Bradley, Cameron, & Candis Battice of Durant, Oklahoma, nieces & nephews: Debbie Battice of Ada, David & Gloria Battice of Ardmore, Steven & Stephanie Battice of Cameron, Mark Battice of Seminole, Scott & Mandy Battice of Ardmore as well as other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 25, 2008 Mills & Coffey Chapel
