Monte Hale Glover, 69 passed away March 28, 2018 in Stigler, Oklahoma.

He was born November 6, 1948 in Covington, Tennessee to Rhea and Susan (Carter) Glover.  Monte worked as a carpenter for many years. He has been a resident of Stigler for the past 22 years. Monte was of the baptist faith and enjoyed woodworking in his spare time.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Rhea and Susan Glover; grandparents: Rufus and Annie Carter; brothers: Bill Glover and Leonard Glover.

Monte is survived by his daughters: Martha Burks of Owasso, Oklahoma and Angela Bretherton of Ponca City, Oklahoma; son: Monte Glover, Jr. of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; sister: Sandra (Glover) Powell of Stigler, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; along with other relatives and friends.  

Graveside services will be held Saturday March 31, 2018 at 1:00PM at the Antlers City Cemetery. Reverend Jim Collier will be officiating. Honorary pallbearers will include Jerry Duncan, Terry Duncan and Austin Wayne Duncan.

Family night will be held Friday March 30, 2018 from 6-8PM at Serenity Funeral Service, 202 E. Main Street, Antlers, Oklahoma. 

Friends and family may sign the online guest registry. Funeral services were entrusted with Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
