Jimmie Dea White, 79, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

She was born June 12, 1943 to Loyl and Georgia (Blanton) Terrell in Monett, Missouri.

Jimmie was raised in Tribbey, Oklahoma. After marriage she lived in Texas and Arkansas.

She was the salutatorian of the graduating class of 1960 from Tribbey High School.

Jimmie married James Richard White on June 27, 1960 in Tribbey, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 24, 2023.

She enjoyed playing golf and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James White; her parents, Loyl and Georgia Terrell; 2 sisters, Betty Morgan and Mary Garrettson; and 1 brother, Loyl Doyle Terrell, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lora White of Tecumseh, OK; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Tammy White of Virginia; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

Graveside will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 19, 2023 at Wanette Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
