Eugene L. Nail was born June 24, 1932 in Wanette, Oklahoma to George and Bessie (Wallace) Nail and passed from this life June 02, 2009 in Norman, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 76 years. He was a lifelong resident of Asher.

On November 13, 1952, he married Pauline Bentley in Asher. Following his marriage, he served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Nail worked in the oil field. He later went to work at Tinker Air Force Base, where he retired in 1988. He then worked in maintenance for Asher Public Schools for 10 years. Along with his wife, they raised cattle in Asher. He enjoyed camping at Lakes Murray, Eufaula, Arbuckle, Tenkiller and Seminole. His grandchildren were the focal point of his life. He also enjoyed vegetable gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, James and Clayton Nail.
