Erric James Monroe, age 21 of Oklahoma City, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Erric was born February 2, 1993 in Claremore, OK. He grew up living in various towns in Oklahoma before settling in Norman in 2007. Erric attended Norman North High School, graduating in 2011. At the age of 16, he began working at Santa Fe Place in Moore. More recently, he started working at St. Anthony’s Hospital as a group counselor. Erric loved people and being outdoors. He especially liked Grand Lake trips, boating and fishing. He loved his car, was an expert on Play Station, and looked forward to spending time with his family and friends. He loved all things ‘New York Yankees’ and never missed an opportunity to watch UFC fighting. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: His great grandfather, Papa Vernon Dees.

Erric leaves behind: His mother, Jamie Foster-Hale and husband Claude of Lexington; His fiancé, Anna May of Oklahoma City; Grandparents, DeNellda Jones of Lexington, Gene Jones of Vinita, OK and Great grandmother, Nanny Waunell Dees of Lexington; 1 step Brother, Cody Hale of Tecumseh; 1 step sister, Shelby Webster of Lexington; Uncle, Brian Ganster and wife T.J. of Lexington; Aunts, Jessicia Smith and husband Nathan of Lexington and Bobbie Hale of Oklahoma City; Several cousins, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Wanette Cemetery in Wanette under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home.
