FLORENCE MYRTLE YOTT
1914 - 2000


Florence Myrtle Herriman Yott, 86, Asher, died Sunday.
Mrs. Yott was born January 18, 1914, in Aurora, Arkansas, the daughter of Josie and Dave Herriman.
She married George Yott March 31, 1939 in Asher.
Mrs. Yott was a homemaker, and lived in the Asher area for the past 69 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband on February 31, 1939; a son, Gene Yott, in April 1990; three grandchildren; her parents; a sister; and a brother.
Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, Arlis and Ernestine Yott, Konawa; Darrell and Sue Yott and David and Linda Yott, all of Asher; Marvin and Edith Yott, Oklahoma City; and Raymond and Sandy Yott, Macomb; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Georgia Tryon, Oklahoma City; Lucy and Jesse Glenn and Linda and Pat Craft, all of Shawnee; and Ruby and Bob Lebo, Chandler; three brothers, Euell Herriman, Coffeyville, Kansas; and Ernie Herriman and Dan Herriman, both of Konawa; two sisters, Opal Jolley, Konawa; and Ida Ewing, Tulare, California; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. today at Pickard Chapel in Konawa with the Rev. Dewayne Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Vista Cemetery under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home of Konawa.
