RAYMON F. RANELLS
1929 - 2008


Asher, Okla. — Raymon F. Ranells, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Purcell Memorial Hospital.
Raymon was born December 11, 1929, in Francis, Oklahoma, to Fred Ranells and Allie Baucom Ranells.
He married Eunice Wilson on June 30, 1951, in Asher.
Raymon worked as a Lineman for Canadian Valley Electric Co-op for thirty seven years. He lived most of his live in Asher, and he was a Deacon for the First Baptist Church in Asher. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Allie Ranells; his wife, Eunice Wilson Ranells; four brothers and one sister.
He is survived by one son, R. Terry Ranells of Asher; one daughter, Teresa and husband, Tom Larman of Asher; one sister, Gerlene Fonfara of Seattle, Washington; six grandchildren, Tonya Armstrong, Bo Ranells, Sherry Roe, Tammy Farmer, Timothy Larman, and Thomas Larman and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, at the First Baptist Church of Asher with the Rev. Dewayne Johnson, the Rev. Cecil Spoonemore, and the Rev. Gary Caldwell officiating.
Burial will follow at Vista Cemetery of Asher.
Pallbearers are Bo Ranells, Mart Armstrong, James Roe, Timothy Larman, Thomas Larman, and Robert Farmer. Honorary Pallbearers are Henry Neely, Billy Ranells, James Tomlinson and Bob Riggle.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
