IVA JEAN HENRY TAYLOR

29 Jan 1928 - 27 May 2012

Iva Jean Taylor was born on January 29, 1928, and passed from this earth to be with her Lord on May 27, 2012, at the age of 84. She was the daughter of Earl (Buddy) Henry and Mamie Henry. She is survived by her loving husband of over 59 years, Jack Thomas Taylor, two sons, Michael Thomas Taylor and Mark Scott Taylor, and their families, and one brother, Stanley Earl Henry. She is also survived by five Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as Sister-in-laws and Brother-in-laws.

Iva Jean Taylor graduated from her High School Class at Asher Oklahoma as the Valedictorian. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time doing volunteer work at the Noble Church of Christ as long as her health would permit her to do the work. She loved to do things with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren and holiday gatherings with all her relatives. In later years, she spent many hours each day working SUDOKU puzzles. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held 2:30 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Havenbrook Funeral Home.

Services will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Noble Church of Christ, 111 North Main, Noble Oklahoma with interment following at Tecumseh Mission Cemetery in Tecumseh, OK. Arrangements for Iva Jean and her family were placed in the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman. Online condolences may be shared at www.havenbrookfuneralhome.com
