EPHRIAM ALBERT "E.A." LYNN

January 20, 1931 - June 16, 2018

Ephriam Albert “E.A.” Lynn, 87, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed from this life Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his home.

He was born January 20, 1931 to Will V. and Sallie Mae (Wilsie) Lynn in Asher, Oklahoma.

He met his future wife, Loretta Faye Couch, at her parent’s grocery store at Cushman Corner when he was running a meat route for Zollie Edgin. They were married on February 10, 1950 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. They were happily married for 67 years until her passing on July 22, 2017. Ephraim and Loretta began their family south of Noble, living in Norman and Salida, CO, before moving to, and living in, Tecumseh since 1957. He owned and operated Lynn’s Grocery, Lynn’s Service Station and a dry cleaners.

E.A. was an accomplished carpenter. He was passionate about gardening, traveling, and trains. He loved mowing and manicuring his lawn.

E.A. was a longtime member of Sharon Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Loretta Lynn; his parents; daughter-in-law, Linda Lynn; sisters, Ailice Mary, Sadie and Audra May; and brothers, Lowell Lynn and Beryl Lynn.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Bob Lynn of Bethel Acres; daughter and son-in-law, Linda Faye and John Hubbard of Perkins, OK; 3 grandchildren, Chad Hubbard, Amber Cassettari and Curtis Lynn; great-granddaughter, Gabriella Cassettari; brother, Billy Lynn; and many loving friends and extended family.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 and continue until service time. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Tecumseh Cemetery with Reverend Clint Dawkins, Sharon Baptist Church officiating.
