Michael John Hallam

May 20, 1980 ~ June 6, 2022

Michael J. Hallam of Oklahoma City, OK departed this life on Monday, June 6, 2022 in Oklahoma City.

He was born May 20, 1980 in Torrance, CA to John and Kathryn Ann (Negahnquet) Hallam.

Michael struggled with himself and life for 42 years! He was a nice-looking man with a good nature. He was kind to others. Though he was smart, and capable too, he seemed unable to recognize these things about himself!

He was able to construct and support a website, but unable to finish the construction part of his life. Michael never realized that the struggles within himself, to see what God had given him WERE heroic!

His struggles are acknowledged. Michael IS a hero because he tried. Many friends and family mourn his loss.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother, Kathryn Hallam; brother, Anthony Hallam; and cousin, Daniel Negahnquet.

He is survived by his father, John Hallam; aunts and spouses, JoNell Negahnquet, Theresa and Bill Neal, Becky and Dorwin Stinnett and Susan and Ron Panter; uncles and spouses, Stephen and Claudia Negahnquet and Tom and Shirley Negahnquet; cousins, Bernadette Gonzalez, Jessica Aguilera, Matthew Martinez, Joe Neal, Ursula Bumpass, Christopher Negahnquet, Karen Smith, Dana Martin, Robert Negahnquet, Aleasha Bumgarner, Tony Negahnquet, and Amanda Negahnquet; and numerous other extended family and friends.

Dorwin Stinnet will serve as Pallbearer.

Rosary will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, Konawa, OK. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery with Father Joseph Reddy Duggempudi officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
