Barbara Ann Phifer Smith

Barbara Ann Smith, 80, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Friday, August 12, 2022 at her home.

Barbara was born August 14, 1941 to Garrett and Eva Phifer in Windsor, Missouri.

She married Thomas Smith on July 3, 1972 in Carthage, Missouri.

Barbara was a homemaker, supportive spouse and amazing mother!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garrett and Eva Phifer; and son, Michael Hutsell.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Smith of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Lisa Smith of Shawnee; son, Bryan Smith of Savage, MT; grandchildren, Brittany Christopherson of Saco MT, Raigan and Trael Smith of Savage MT, Trevor, Allyson, and Braden Smith of Shawnee; great-grandchildren, Bryten and Beyleigh Christopherson of Saco, MT.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Keith Ward, Taproot Church, Shawnee, OK officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
