Bobby Gene Hampton

January 29, 1937 ~ December 31, 2022

Bobby Hampton passed away on December 31, 2022. He was born on January 29, 1937, to William and Ozeal Hampton in Shawnee, OK.

Upon graduating from Shawnee High School Bobby joined the US Marines. After completing his tour of duty, he worked at Tinker Air Force Base until his retirement. Bobby enjoyed golfing and fishing. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ozeal (Hines) Hampton, bothers Bill Hampton, Larry Jack Hampton, infant brother Jimmy Don Hampton and sister-in-law Lovette Hampton.

Bobby is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Doris and Jack Hurst, sister-in-law Linda Hampton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801. A graveside service will occur Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801.
