JIMMY WADE ARMITAGE

April 28, 1942 - September 12, 2017

Jimmy 'Wade' Armitage, 75, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was born April 28, 1942 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Fay and Pauline Armitage.

Wade grew up around the Lincoln County area and spent most of his career as a truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sylva 'Jan' Armitage; and brothers, Donnie Armitage and Mont Armitage.

Wade is survived by children, Leesa Armitage and Melanie Huskins; grandchildren, Joshua Gorum, Kylie Huskins and Carson Sandlin; sisters, Sharon Daniel, Barbara Sue Bailey and Cheryl Scism; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
