LARRY WAGNER
1949 - 2002


VEGA - Larry Wagner, 52, died Monday, April 29, 2002, in Hereford.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery in Vega with the Rev. Steve Cox, pastor of Vega United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Vega Funeral Home.
Mr. Wagner was born June 29, 1949, in San Antonio. He graduated from LaPryer High School in 1967. He moved to Hereford in December 1970 and started farming. He married Karen Hobbs on June 2, 1973, in Vega.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne; and his father, Joe.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Keri James of Socorro, N.M., Cheryl Wagner of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Donna Jo Kisch of Shawnee, Okla.; three grandsons, Caleb, Tristen and Trevor; a granddaughter, Karen Rebecca; his mother, Thelma Meyer of San Antonio; three brothers, Charles Wagner of Dallas, Richard Wagner of Gruver and Steve Wagner of San Antonio; three sisters, Elaine Wagner of San Antonio, Margaret Wagner of Belleville and Betty Ann Wagner of Stockholm, Sweden; three nephews; and 10 nieces.
The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Park Cemetery of Vega, P.O. Box 396, Vega, TX 79092.
The body will be available for viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
