KENNETH TERRELL
1931 - 2016


Kenneth “Ken” Terrell, 84, of Newalla, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Norman, Oklahoma.
He was born November 22, 1931 to Luther Noel and Beulah Mae Popejoy Terrell in Maud, Oklahoma.
Ken was raised in Maud and attended Crooked Oak Schools. He has lived in the Little Axe area for the past 35 years.
He married Iva Deloris Morris on March 4, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on March 20, 2013.
Ken retired from Coca-Cola after 49 years of service.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Little Axe.
Ken loved to drive his tractor, fish and loved his family very much; they were the focal point of his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva Deloris Terrell, his parents, Luther and Beulah Terrell, sister, Erma Wilson and two brothers, Forrest Terrell and J. K. Terrell.
Ken is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Noel and Diane Terrell of Newalla, Oklahoma, two daughters and two sons-in-law, Deborah and Bill McClure of Newalla, Oklahoma and Delena and Robert Gleason of Norman, Oklahoma, eleven grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, sister, Lois Barclay of McLoud, Oklahoma and other extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2016 and continue through service time. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 29, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Little Axe with Pastor Sunny Stuart officiating.
Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
