MONA BOATWRIGHT STATUM
1942 - 2006


Mona Boatwright Statum died suddenly January 20, at her home in Starks, Louisiana.
She was born July 2, 1942 in Wanette, Oklahoma to Anna Laurent and Levoy Boatwright.
She married Charlie Barks in 1965 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Charlie passed away in 1990.
She married Terry Dale Statum December 3, 1991 in Starks.
She was preceded in death by Charlie; her parents; one sister Barbara Ferguson; and one great granddaughter, Rachel.
She is survived by her husband of the home; two daughters, Ronda Conner of Tuttle, Oklahoma; and Rebecca Statum of Starks, Louisiana; one son, Charles Edward Barks, also of Starks, Louisiana; two sisters, Patricia Berry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Norma Townsend of Amber, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held Wednesday, January 25 at the Baptist Church in Starks.
