OPAL LOIS STALNAKER
1907 - 2001


Opal Lois Bowers Stalnaker of Seminole died Wednesday at a Seminole hospital. She was 93.
She was born November 23, 1907, in Mississippi to Lee and Myrtle Bowers.
She married L. C. "Pete" Stalnaker, who preceded her in death November 9, 1986.
Mrs. Stalnaker moved from Maud to Seminole in 1939.
A homemaker, Mrs. Stalnaker worked many years as a cashier for Harvest House Restaurant.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Seminole.
Survivors include her son, Don Stalnaker, Seminole; daughter-in-law, Sandra Stalnaker, Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Ginger and Chris LaBarbera, Dallas; Donald Stalnaker, Austin, Texas; Kurt and Lisa Stalnaker, Dallas; and one great-grandchild, Zac LaBarbera, Dallas.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel, Seminole, with Dr. Kelvin Moseley officiating.
Burial will be in Cummings Cemetery, Maud.
