WILLIAM MURRAY SIBLEY
1935 - 2009


William Murray Sibley began this life on June 11, 1935 and went home January 1, 2009.
He lived on his own terms and left this world the same way. He has lived in Louisiana, France and Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fondren and Roberta Sibley.
He is survived by the love of his life, Yvonne Sibley, children Bridget Sibley, Rocky Hall, Ricky Hall, Monica Dossey, Jerry Dossey, John Dossey and William Sibley II, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, Stella Duncan and Betty Jo Ellis, brothers, F. C. Sibley, Alfred Sibley and Robin Sibley and a multitude of nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
Bill loved spending time with his family and friends. He also loved fishing, gardening, camping, and bird watching. He was a practicing and devout Mason.
He served both in the United States Navy and the United States Air Force. Much of his service time was spent in the South Pacific, including time served in the Korean War.
Service will be held at Walker Funeral Service Chapel on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m.
Graveside services will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
