NEAL D. SEIKEL
1935 - 2000


Neal D. Seikel of Newalla died Thursday in an Oklahoma City hospital. He was 64.
He was born November 20, 1935, near Dale to Leo V. and Opal DuBoise Seikel.
Most of his education was in the Dale Schools, although he graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1955.
He married Joyce Bailey on October 9, 1957, in Oklahoma City.
He was in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959 and served one tour of duty in Germany.
Most of his working years were in the Heating and Cooling business. This involved the installation and service of equipment in homes and business.
He was the owner-manager of P. and N. Heating and Cooling Company in Oklahoma City. He retired in 1988 after an industrial accident.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Cindy Seikel; and Jeff and Janice Seikel; all of Yukon, and five grandchildren, Cara, Zach, Jessica, Diana and Victoria Seikel.
He is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Teresa Seikel of Stillwater; Bob and Charlotte Seikel of Shawnee; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; one uncle, Woodrow DuBoise of Meeker; and two aunts, Ruby DuBoise of Midwest City and Agnes Seikel Jarboe of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. today at the Dale Cemetery.
Paylor Funeral Home, Midwest City, is in charge of the services.
