DEBRA MAY ROOP
1953 - 2016


Debra May Roop, age 62, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Tecumseh.
She was born August 20, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas to Carl and Wanda Duncan Roop.
Debby grew up in Amarillo, Texas, moving to Atoka, Oklahoma and then to Tecumseh in the mid 1980’s.
She attended school in Amarillo, Texas.
She was a member of Northwest Missionary Baptist Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Debby never met a stranger. She was always happy. Debby loved her baby dolls.
She was also ornery, fun, and smart. She enjoyed all kinds of music.
Debby loved her mother dearly and loved her great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Millie and Preston Duncan.
Debby is survived by her mother, Wanda McCall of Shawnee; sister, Sherry Gibson and Trent of Bethel Acres; nephews, Tony Kenyon and Traci of Shawnee and Sawyer Gibson and Erin of Bethel Acres; niece, Brandy Hileman and Daniel of Pottsboro, Texas; nine great nieces and nephews and best friend, Suzie Rider.
