JOHNNY H. RODGERS
1914 - 1998


Lifelong Shawnee resident Johnny H. Rodgers died Saturday at a local hospital. He was 84.
Mr. Rodgers was born July 20, 1914, in Shawnee to Henry and Lena Rodgers.
He attended Musson grade school and St. Benedict High School. He also attended the University of Oklahoma.
He served in the U. S. Air Corps during World War II.
He was a farmer and a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
Survivors include one brother, Mike Rodgers, Tulare, California; and several nieces and nephews including Jack Rodgers, Shawnee; and Ruby Fullbright of Midwest City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.
Vigil will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Massoth, O.S.B., officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Benedict Church Memorial Fund.
