ETHEL LORENE RANKIN
1929 - 2006


A memorial service celebrating the life of Ethel will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Monday, January 16th at 2:00 p.m. Visitation 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. January 15th.
Ethel was born on April 4, 1929 in McLoud, Oklahoma to Daniel and Villa Dye. They moved out west to California in the late 30s to Wasco where she met her husband Oran Rankin and they were married on Oct. 28, 1943 and enjoyed 62 wonderful years of marriage. Ethel received her Real Estate license in the late 60s and soon after received her Brokers license, she received many awards and was in the Million Dollar Club many times.
She was the last surviving child of 6 girls and 1 boy.
Ethel had an infectious laugh and smile that could light up any room at anytime.
Her favorite past time was loading up the Cadillas and heading off to Lake Tahoe. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that God has ever created.
Ethel is survived by her husband of 62 years, Oran, her sons, Oran Jr. and Denis Wayne, grandchildren, Candace Magnuson, Jason, Austin and Vanee Rankin, great grandchildren, Collin, Cameron and Hanna.
She will always be in our hearts and souls, thanks for the wonderful memories.
