MARY T. PRICE
1955 - 2016


Mary Tisdale Price, age 60, of Shawnee, Oklahoma was born December 14, 1955, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
She was the daughter of Pierre and Linda Eubank Tisdale.
She left this life on Saturday, June 11, 2016, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Mary graduated from OBU in Shawnee, Oklahoma with her Bachelor's degree.
She married David Price on August 8, 1981, in Shawnee.
She was a Collection Maintenance Supervisor at the OBU library. She was a member of H.I.S. Church in Meeker, Oklahoma and Hilltop Baptist Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Mary enjoyed doing stained glass and fused glass, crocheting, scrapbooking and sewing.
The love of her life and her passion was Jesus. She desired to please Him in every area of life whether it was fun, or work, or hobbies, or home or relationships. Prayer was an action activity instead of only verbal. ‘Obedience is better than sacrifice. ”t was one of her watchwords. Another was “Righteousness is of much profit when accompanied with contentment.”
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, David Price of Shawnee, Oklahoma; children, Charlie Lewis of Bremerton, Washington, Amor Montes of Seattle, Washington, Kathrine Masenda of Corinth, Texas and Jennell Morfitt of Caldwell, Idaho; mother, Linda Tisdale of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, David Tisdale of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Stephen Tisdale of Satellite Beach, Florida; sister, Ellen Tisdale of San Antonio, Texas; sister in law, Wanda Wilson; nephews, Clifford and Melanie Tisdale, Eugene Tisdale, Pete Tisdale and Sammi Wai; nieces, Cara and Mark Price, Sabrina Price, Karina and Mark Voutas, Sarah and Darren Prince, Kristina Price and Kelly Jeffrey and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer a memorial gift to be sent to: Hilltop Baptist Church Mission Fund, PO Box 1803, Shawnee, Oklahoma 74802-1803.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2016, at the Heritage Church, Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
