Mrs. Powers was born Jan 2nd, 1864 in Tribbey, Oklahoma. She was married to Lon Edgar Powers on June 30th, 1919 in McAlester, Oklahoma and had lived in Wanette for several years, moving to southwest of Tecumseh in 1954. She has lived there since that time. Mr. Poses died April 10th 1960.
