THELMA PERRYMAN
1921 - 2010


Thelma Craig Perryman, 88, of Macomb, passed away October 27, 2010, in Tecumseh.
She was born December 9, 1921, in Prairie View to H. C. Craig Sr. and Emma Mooney.
She lived in many different places before settling in Oregon, where she resided for many years.
Thelma obtained bachelor's and master's degrees from Southern Oregon State College located in Ashland, Oregon.
She moved back home to Oklahoma in 1973 and was employed for twenty years as an administrative assistant for the Pottawatomie County Commissioner's office.
Thelma was a resident of Macomb and a member of the Evangelistic Center Church.
Upon retirement in the mid 1990's she spent her time painting, drawing, sewing and knitting. She especially loved her family, which included her cats.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; Nellie Carter and Viva Norton; and one brother, H. C. Craig Jr.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and David Griffith of Macomb; and Wynne Perryman of Portland, Oregon; two grandsons, Derrick Griffith and Craig Griffith of Macomb; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Orville Austin of Shawnee; sister, Nadene Aylor of Seminole; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Viewing will begin at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2010.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Romulus Cemetery with the Reverend Mike Craig of Temple Baptist Church officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
