PAUL WAYNE PALMER
1945 - 2006


Paul Wayne Palmer's life was ended in a motorcycle accident in Benton County, Arkansas on Thursday, June 1.
Paul was 60 years old, a resident of Shawnee since 1976 and owner of Fab Seal Industrial Liners, Inc.
He was born on June 16, 1945, to Russell and Jewel Cosby in Batesville, Mississippi.
Paul served in the National Guard in the 1960s.
During the '70s and '80s he was a Pottawatomie County Deputy Sheriff, worked with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the OSBI.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife Diana, his parents, brother Rick Cosby, and son Scott Palmer.
He is survived by son, Wayne Palmer; son, David Palmer, his wife Jen and their children Sean, Cheyenne and Emma; son, Patrick Schiltz, his wife Faith and their children Sebastian, Zachary and Nathaniel; daughter, Dana Freeman and her fiance Rick Austin; and mother-in-law, Mary Shoopman.
The viewing will be Monday 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Gaskill Funeral Chapel.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 7, at noon at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Father Maurus Jaeb, O.S.B., will officiate. Family and friends will be gathering after the service at 4608 Kellye Green.

Paul has now joined the love of his life, Diana and their son, Scott.
