DOLORES PAULINE OWNBEY
1932 - 2015


Dolores Pauline Bessinger Ownbey, age 82, of Newalla, Oklahoma, was born October 5, 1932, in Newalla, Oklahoma.
She was the daughter of Steven Joseph and Ira Patrick Bessinger. She left this life on Saturday, January 24, 2015, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Dolores married Charles W. Ownbey on September 9, 1949, in Oklahoma City.
She was a member of Choctaw Road Baptist Church.
Dolores loved to cook and make candy. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren and attending their sporting events and other activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, two sisters and son-in-law, Dwayne Troutt.
Survivors include her three daughters abd sons-in-law, Patsy and Ronnie Kudrna, Newalla, Oklahoma; Peggy Troutt, McLoud, Oklahoma; Nancy and Patrick Drew, Harrah, Oklahoma; loving nephew, Kenny Ownbey and wife, Patti, Oklahoma City; adopted family, Rita and Robert Mahan, Choctaw, Oklahoma; brother, Bill Bessinger, and wife, Mary Jane, Crescent, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Brandon and Shawna Troutt; April and Scott; Hatchell, Brooke, Brayden; Breanna and Brock Drew; Amy and Pat Tate; Zachary and Chasity Kudrna; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at Choctaw Road Baptist Church, Choctaw, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery, Dale, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
