DELLA HAWKINS O'BANNON
1911 - 2001


Della Dethrow Hawkins O'Bannon died Tuesday in Ada at age 89.
She was born December 19, 1911, in Acton, Missouri, the daughter of W. S. and Minnie Childers Dethrow. She moved to Shawnee in 1914 and had lived here since.
She was married to Ray Hawkins, who died in 1969. She later married Herbert O'Bannon, who died November 8, 1978.
Mrs. O'Bannon was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, one son, one daughter, three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday at Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Ronnie Hurst will officiate. Burial will be at Tecumseh Cemetery.
