JAMES M. NEAL
1917 - 1998


James M. Neal of Shawnee died Tuesday in a local nursing home at the age of 81.
He was born March 15, 1917, in Shawnee to John and Lena Neal and attended Shawnee schools.
He spent most of his career working for OK Transfer and Storage.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Tracie Neal, Shawnee; two daughters; two brothers, Clyde Neal, Charley Neal, both of Shawnee; and four grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, seven brothers and four sisters.
Graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Neal Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Matthews officiating, assisted by Phil Thompson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
