BEATRICE McKINLEY
1924 - 2016


Beatrice Spikes McKinley, age 92, of Harrah, Oklahoma was born February 2, 1924, in Little, Oklahoma.
She was the daughter of Robert Perry Spikes and Jessie Ursula Randolph Spikes. She left this life on Thursday, March 3, 2016, in Harrah, Oklahoma.
Beatrice graduated from Shawnee High School in 1942.
She married Norris McKinley on December 1, 1943, in Dale, Oklahoma.
Beatrice was an excellent seamstress and cook.
She fed many hired hands thru the years.
She made porcelain dolls and enjoyed playing cards at the Harrah Senior Citizens Center.
Beatrice was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newalla and was active in her Sunday School class where she had three special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Johnny Spikes and two sisters, Agnes Cooper and Georgia Cook.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Lawana McKinley of McLoud, Oklahoma; daughter, Judy Sell and special friend, Don Morris of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister and brother-in-law, Etta Mae and Melvin Cook of Grand Prairie, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Tricia and Mike Evans; grandson and wife, Gerad and Karie McKinley; great-grandchildren, Gavin McKinley, Rylee Evans and Kenadie McKinley; step-grandchildren, Brian Magott, Amber Bishop and husband, Sam; step-great-grandchildren, Jaden Magott, Carli Bishop, Sammy Bishop, BaliAnn Bishop and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Newalla, Newalla, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
