FAYE GRAHAM McCALIP
1929 - 2016

Faye Graham McCalip was born to Leonard and Arby Eckert Graham on December 9, 1929 in Warner, Oklahoma. She went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, November 19, 2016 in Tecumseh.
She was greeted by a whole host of loved ones and friends that welcomed her home. She is with her grandson, Kerry Carter, granddaughter, Tammy Baker, and the grandchildren that were miscarried before coming to birth.
Faye got saved when she was 16 years old at an old fashioned revival where the young evangelist was Brother James McCalip. She and James were married on June 17, 1948 in Norman. She was affiliated with the Holiness Church from the time she was 16 until she moved to Heaven at the age of 86.
She had 5 girls, 12 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren. She loved to read, but her heart was raising her children to love God and be good wives and mothers. She prayed daily that God would bless her husband, James McCalip, and that her children and grandchildren would not be lost. She truly fulfilled the scripture, Proverbs 31: Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
Faye was a member of Tecumseh Holiness Church in Tecumseh.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ray and John Graham; one sister, Peggy Smith; one granddaughter, Tammy Baker and one grandson, Kerry Carter.
She will be waiting for her husband of 68 years, James McCalip; her children, Shelia and Donnie Baker, Ramona and Paul Jett, Pam and Henry Carter, Rena` and David Jett, and Terri and Tommy Nail; her grandchildren, Shadawn, LaChelle, Kimberly, Keith, April, Shane, Eva, TaRena, Kandace, Tasha and Douglas, and their spouses and children; sister, Regina Curtis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, with the family gathering to meet with friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home and continue through service time. Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Sharon Baptist Church with Reverend Aaron Brock of Lighthouse Holiness Church in Prague and Reverend Ricky Searcy of Mount Vernon Holiness Church in Oklahoma City officiating.
Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
