CECIL LEO MALONE
1948 - 1999


St. Cloud, Florida resident Cecil Leo Malone died June 1 in St. Cloud. He was 50.
Mr. Malone was born June 20, 1948 in Asher to Fern McBroom Malone and Walter Ray Malone.
He married Bevette Lindsay on September 6, 1969.
He had attended Asher High School and graduated from Macomb High School in 1967.
He was a member of the Army and Army Reserves and served in the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for Benton Express and moved to Florida in 1988.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and American Veterans Association. He received the Purple Heart Award and was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bevette; mother, Fern Malone, Macomb; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Gisela Box, Waterloo, New York; Chris and Patricia Malone, Alexandria, Virginia; sisters, Melba Malone and Molly Malone, both of Macomb; sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Bill Roberts, Macomb; niece, Melissa Malone, Alexandria, Virginia; Jason Malone, Macomb; Jimmy Box, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Robbie Box, Norfolk, Virginia; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Ray Malone; grandparents, James William McBroom and Lizzia Mae Johnson McBroom; James Jason Malone and Ella Georgia Malone.
Services were held June 6 at Fisk Funeral Home and Crematory, St. Cloud, Florida.
Burial was in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
