DEE ANNE MACE
1954 - 2016

Dee Anne was born December 4, 1954 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Joe and JoDee Bussey.

She was employed by Shawnee Regional Hospital for several years after obtaining her RN nursing license. She also helped in the family nursing home business when needed. Dee Anne was known for her compassionate care that she skillfully delivered to her patients.
She married Darryl Lloyd in 1975. On June 5, 1979, she gave birth to her son, Eric Lloyd. From that moment on, being a great mother to him was her true calling in life.
Dee Anne loved to bake and became well known for her ability to make the best cheesecakes. If you were ever blessed to have one, you always wanted another.
She also enjoyed reading, watching movies, gardening, traveling, going to the lake and caring for her beloved dogs, Emma and Sophia. Each year Dee Anne always looked forward to hosting Thanksgiving dinner at her house for some of her closest friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Joe and JoDee Bussey and her ex-husband, Darryl Lloyd.
Those left to cherish their memories of her are her son, Eric Lloyd of Tecumseh; stepsons, Ethan Mace of Montana and Greg Mace of Shawnee; a sister and brother-in-law, Tracey and Jeff Fraser of Clifton Park, New York; a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Sandie Bussey of Shawnee; niece, Micah Barton and her husband Travis Barton of Shawnee; niece, Callie Johnson of New York; nephew, Clint Johnson of New Orleans, Louisiana; great-niece, Maudie Barton of Shawnee; great-nephew, Thatcher Barton of Shawnee; and several aunts, uncles and cousins; and other extended family and friends.
