JERAL DEAN LOVELESS
1927 - 2011


Funeral services for Jeral Dean Loveless, 83, of Purcell were held January 8, 2011 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.
Mr. Loveless went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 5, 2011, in Healdton, Oklahoma.
Jeral was born on October 25, 1927 around the Byars, Oklahoma area.
He was the oldest of five children born to Theodore Edgar Loveless and Letha Green Haynes Loveless.
Jeral grew up a farm boy in the Byars area. While growing up, he learned how to work hard and throughout his life he continued that same work ethic.
He married Dorotha Fay Brogdon of Wanette on December 26, 1944, in Stratford, Oklahoma, and together they had three children.
Jeral and Dorotha lived in various towns throughout their lives including Wanette, Asher, Byars, Wayne, Amarillo and McLean, Texas, and Purcell. He worked mainly as a rancher, cattleman, mechanic and businessman.
He loved his family and cherished every moment he was with them. His unblemished, kind hearted character throughout his life has stood as a testimony of who he was. One of his hobbies was fishing but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Letha Loveless; an infant daughter, Sandra Kaye Loveless and son, Jerry Don Loveless.
He is survived by his wife, Dorotha; daughter, Ann Idleman and husband, Dennis, of Healdton, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, John Idleman and wife, Lorree, of Healdton; Jeff Idleman and wife, Kari, of Healdton; and Julie Riner and husband, Cody, of Dickson; nine great-grandchildren, Jace, Jeston, Jorja, Madison, Elisabeth, Dee, Gus, JeriAnn and Jentri; two brothers, Monty Loveless of Blanchard; and Leroy Loveless and wife, Janet, of Marlow; two sisters, LaNell Lee of Moore; and Marquita Capps and husband, Earl of Moore; many nieces, nephews and other relatives as well as a host of friends.
Interment was at Wanette Cemetery under the direction of Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
