PHILOMENE V. KIRK
1924 - 2000


Philomene V. Kirk of Wichita, Kansas, died August 18 in Pottawatomie County. She was 76.
Miss Kirk was born May 25, 1924, in Brooksville to Bobby and Ruby Jeffries Kirk.
She was raised in Brooksville by her stepfather and mother, Grady and Ruby Cooks, and moved to Wichita, where she attended school.
She was a registered nurse and had worked in Washington, D.C., with the Veterans Administration.
She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
She is survived by many relatives and friends.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lee Oliver of St. John Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Brooksville Cemetery.
