MARY IRENE JONES
1911 - 1998


Mary Irene Warren Jones died Saturday in a Tecumseh nursing home at the age of 87.
She was born April 24, 1911, in St. Mary's, Kentucky, the daughter of J. K. and Naomi Gootee Warren.
She had lived in Tecumseh for twenty years and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons, Harold Paul Jones and Brother Justin Jones, both of Shawnee; daughter, Nancy Ball, Carthage, Texas; one brother, Leo Warren, Shawnee; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, four brothers and one sister.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. today at St. Gregory's Abbey with the Right Rev. Martin Lugo, O.S.B., and her son, Brother Justin Jones, O.S.B., officiating.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
