EARL L. JONES
1958 - 2011


Oklahoma City resident Earl L. Jones died Sunday, November 13, 2011, at the age of 53.
He was born August 13, 1958, in Orange County, California to Virginia Lee and Homer Jones.
He attended high school in Salinas, California and received an Electrical Certification at Gordon Cooper Vo-Tech, Shawnee.
He worked as a heavy machine operator, CNC Machinist and electrician.
His hobbies included fishing, riding his Harley, cooking out and playing with his kids.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Jones; brothers, Freddie Jones and John Jones and his daughter, Jenny Roddick.
Survivors include his children, Shawn, Chris, Stephanie, Jeremiah, Cathy, Virginia, Freddie and Addy Jones; brothers, Junior Sides and Rick Sides of Luther; Steven Jones of California; Mark Jones of Maud; and Robert Jones of Shawnee; and sisters, Mary Stoughton of Bethel, Anna Jones of Prague and Nichole Chavez of Bethel.
Earl was a wonderful father and brother and will be greatly missed.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, at Romulus Cemetery, south of Tecumseh.
