ANNA MARRIE JONES
1961 - 2016


Anna Marrie Jones, 54 of Tecumseh, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Tecumseh.
She was born March 30, 1961, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Homer and Virginia Wallace Jones.
Anna’s family moved back and forth from California to Oklahoma during her childhood. She attended high school in Salinas, California.
She moved to Macomb and lived there many years before moving to Tecumseh.
She retired from K-Mart in California, and then worked at numerous places, including Walls, Dollar Store and TDK.
Anna loved spending time with her grandchildren and being at family gatherings.
She enjoyed jewelry, with her favorite being turquoise.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Fred Jones, John Sides and Earl Jones.
Anna is survived by her son, David Earl Parish of Tecumseh; two daughters, Maryann and Shawn Payne of Macomb and Tiffany and Chad Edwards of Tecumseh; Grandchildren, Misty Dawn Edwards and Tammy Marie Edwards; five brothers; Steve Jones of Hollister, California; Rick Sides of Jones, Oklahoma; J. R. Sides of Luther, Oklahoma; Robert Jones of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Mark and Cameo, of Maud, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mary and Tully Stoughton of Tecumseh and Nichole Chavez of Macomb; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Candy Payne officiating.
Burial will follow at Romulus Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
