PAUL E. JOHNSON
1918 - 1998


Paul E. Johnson, 80, died Friday at his Shawnee home.
He was born May 19, 1918, in Ada to Louie and Mabel Johnson.
He was reared and attended schools in Shawnee, and later attended St. Gregory's College.
On August 20, 1949, he married Norma Keltner in Shawnee.
He was employed by AMOCO and retired from the company in 1980. He was also a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Mabel Johnson; a brother, Louie Johnson Jr.; and a sister, Claire Elizabeth Korhuniak.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Ann Keltner Johnson, of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Tracy Johnson, Mark and Julie Johnson and Gene Johnson, all of Shawnee; Jamie Johnson, Houston, Texas; and Michael and Karen Johnson, Prague; daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Jerry Lofties, Yukon; Cindy and Cliff Allen, Midwest City; Mary and Thomas Yarbrough, Meeker; and Kathy and Chuck Lovelace, Anaco, Venezuela; eighteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Lee Johnson, San Diego, California; and one sister, Theresa Louise Colbert of Shawnee.
Vigil and rosary were held Monday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. today at St. Benedict Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Massoth, O.S.B., officiating.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Benedict Church memorial fund, 632 N. Kickapoo, Shawnee Oklahoma 74801-6070.
