OSCAR EARL JENSEN
1927 - 2001


Seminole resident Oscar Earl Jensen died Friday at home. He was 74.
The son of Oscar and Erma Brubaker Jensen was born September 17, 1927 in Hastings, Nebraska.
He was a jig builder for Boeing Aircraft and a diesel mechanic for Lee Way and Transcon Motor Freight.
On April 12, 1956, he and Pat Moore were married in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
During the Korean conflict, Jensen served in the U. S. Army as a motor sergeant. He also was a Merchant Seaman.
He lived in Red Cloud, Nebraska; Grand Junction, Colorado; Soda Springs, Idaho; and Seattle, Washington, before moving to Shawnee, where he lived for more than thirty five years.
Jensen recently moved to Seminole, where he was a member of Seminole Holiness Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Phyllis Files.
Survivors include his wife of the home; sister, Anna Hanson of Grand Junction; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Hart Street Full Gospel Church.
The Revs. Gerald Kerns and Linda and Ellis Gregg will officiate.
Burial will be at Neal Cemetery.
Cooper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
