LEE T. ISON
1905 - 2004


Lee T. Ison, 99, of Midwest City, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2004.
He was born to Josh S. and Dora Worley Ison on September 17, 1905 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.
Lee came to Shawnee, Oklahoma in 1926 from Kentucky then moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma in 1996.
Lee was a furniture salesman. He was a member of the Shawnee Lions Club, Pottawatomie County Historical Society, and involved with Mobile Meals. He was also a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Shawnee and then transferred membership to Wickline United Methodist Church in Midwest City. His love of music got him involved in the church choir.
Lee is survived by his son, Dr. Lee A. Ison and wife Jean of Midwest City; four grandchildren; Dr. Rick Ison and wife Debbie of Allen, Texas; Ron Ison and wife Amy of Edmond; Randy Ison and wife Susan of Oklahoma City; and Rodger Ison and wife Angie of O'Fallon Missouri; three great grandchildren: Drew, Carley, and Caleb; and one sister, Edna Edwards of Ashland, Kentucky.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents and wife Kathryn.
Memorial donations can be made to Wickline United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 7, at the Wickline United Methodist Church of Midwest City with burial at 1:00 p.m. in the Fairview Cemetery of Shawnee, Oklahoma under the direction of Barnes & Johnson Funeral Home.
