LOLA MAY HOLCOMBE
1929 - 2016


Lola May Mercer Holcombe, age 86, of Choctaw, Oklahoma was born July 20, 1929, to Vern and Etta May Mercer.
She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, in Choctaw, Oklahoma.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings, her two sons, Jessie Jr. and Leslie and daughter, Sandra Holcombe, three granddaughters, Leetavah McNulty, Karen Holcombe and Dawn Holcombe, one grandson, Walker Holcombe, one great-grandson, Brandon Holcombe and one great-great-granddaughter, Faith Cross.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Jessie Holcombe, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Duane Jernigan; daughter-in-law, Donna Holcombe; brother, Lorney Mercer; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There was a total of 80 grandchildren, with three on the way and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park, Nicoma Park, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery, Dale, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
