TOMMY LEE HENDERSON
1934 - 2016


Tommy Lee Henderson, age 81, of McLoud, Oklahoma, was born on July 31, 1934, in Sardis, Oklahoma.
He was the son of Cecil and Lee Cummings Henderson. He left this life on Sunday, February 7, 2016, in McLoud.
Tommy married Lila on December 30, 1971, in Gainesville, Texas.
He retired from Dobson Communications where he was a utility worker.
His hobbies included mowing the grass, fishing, playing dominoes, raising chickens, going to dirt track races and he especially enjoyed watching his grandkids sports activities.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents his son, Anthony Henderson; his daughter, Diane Morton; his brother, Horace Henderson and sister, JoAnn Finchum.
Survivors include his wife, Lila Henderson of McLoud, Oklahoma; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Juli Henderson of Newalla, Oklahoma; Kenny Shelton and Ronda Dugone of Yukon, Oklahoma; Shawn and Randi Shelton of McLoud; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and Joe Bilbrey of Newalla, Oklahoma; Ashley and Austin Wright of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Faye Withrow of Bethel, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Dale Cemetery, Dale, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
