STANLEY LEE HARRIS SR.
1943 - 2016


Stanley Lee Harris Sr., age 73, of Newalla, Oklahoma was born on May 30, 1943 in Hurley, Missouri. He was the son of Lowell and Dorothy Rickman Harris. He left this life on Monday, November 7, 2016 in Newalla, Oklahoma.
Stanley graduated in 1961 from Marionville High School in Missouri. He moved to Oklahoma in 1978, where he found and married the love of his life, Stella.
Stanley enjoyed mechanic work, woodworking and working in the yard and working with his hands or being outside and playing with his grandkids.
He fought cancer and never gave up the fight. Stanley beat cancer twice, but lost the battle the third time around on November 7, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jimmy and Raymond Harris.
Survivors include his wife, Stella Harris of the home, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Stanley Lee Harris, Jr. of Capefair, Missouri and Gary Alan and Rita Harris of Newalla, Oklahoma, one brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Joy Harris of Newalla, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and outlaws. He will be loved and missed by all.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 12 , 2016, at Dale Cemetery, Dale, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
