MARGIE KATIEMAE HARRIS
1936 - 2011


Margie Katiemae Dawson Harris was born on April 27, 1936, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and departed this life on Monday, December 12, 2011, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 75.
Margie, the daughter of Charlie and Myrtle Hattie Freeze Dawson, was a resident of Prague and Paden area most of her life. She graduated from Paden High School with the class of 1954.
She married Richard Harris on October 29, 1954. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2007.
At the time of her death Margie was a regional vice-president of sales for Stanley Home Products.
Her parents, two sisters and four brothers preceded Margie in death.
Survivors include, son, Richard Keith "Cheyenne" Harris of Prague; daughters and son-in-law, Ollie Jean and Larry Carpenter of Prague; Vickie Morris of Prague; one adopted son, Pablo Trejo, of Prague; one brother, Bert Dawson, Midwest City, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
The family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
Interment will follow at Keokuk Cemetery in Prague.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
