ROBERT WILLIAM FRAZIER
1936 - 1997


Wetumka native Robert William Frazier of North Richland Hills, Texas, died Sunday in Hurst, Texas. He was 60.
He was born October 24, 1936, at Wetumka to Dewie Burton and Virginia Viola Jones Frazier. He married Linda Tribbey on February 2, 1963, at Oklahoma City.
Frazier served 20 years in the U. S. Air Force and retired in 1975 as a tech sergeant. He then taught heating and air conditioning for several years until retiring in 1995.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Choctaw; Oklahoma City Woodcarvers Club, Mid West Woodcarvers of Nebraska, Eastern Oklahoma Woodcarvers, Texas Guild, Grapevine Heritage Woodcarvers and the National Woodcarvers Association.
Frazier lived in Choctaw for 25 years and moved to Texas in October of 1996.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Tribbey Frazier, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Jody Frazier, Grapevine, Texas; grandchildren, Matthew and Natasha, Grapevine; brother, Jimmie Dale Frazier, Mesa, Arizona; and four sisters, Mary Louise Pagencoff, Florida; Betty Lee Goodlett, Apache Junction, Arizona; Patsy Ruth Carver, Mesa, Arizona; and Carolyn Ellvington, Clovis, New Mexico.
His parents preceded him in death.
Services were Wednesday at Maud with burial in Cummings Cemetery.
The Rev. Jack Thrower officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Knight Funeral Home, Maud.
