ANNA LOUISE EDGEMAN
1932 - 2010


Anna Louise Hogue Edgeman, 78, of Tecumseh, died Saturday, November 13, 2010, in Tecumseh.
She was born October 1, 1932, to Ora and Vina Lou Roberts Hogue in Norman.
She was a lifelong resident of Tecumseh.
She attended Black School in rural Pottawatomie County.
She married Sam Edgeman May 19, 1950.
She worked for the University of Oklahoma for 24 years at the student union building in the laundry room and the banquet department, retiring in 1991.
She enjoyed crocheting, country music, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. She especially loved family get togethers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Edgeman; her parents; brothers, Charlie "Buddy" and Paul Herman Hogue; sisters, Bea Ora Dabney, Anjaline Getzelman, Lillian Tison, Helen Hogue and Laura Lee Mayes.
Survivors include three daughters and their spouses, Harlena and Alan Mays, Darlena and Joe Moore and Dianna and Mark Seaton, all of Tecumseh; sister in-law, Annette Hogue of Tecumseh; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Allie Mae Benge; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Glen Pence officiating.
Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
