PASCAL GRANT DOCKREY
1932 - 2015


Pascal Grant Dockrey, 82, of Shawnee, died peacefully in his home on January 28, 2015.
Grant was born on July 9, 1932, in Shawnee to P. G. "Dute" Dockrey and Myra Madge Dockrey.
He graduated from Shawnee High School with the class of 1950 and then attended Oklahoma A & M.
Grant went to work in the abstract business before going to work with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation on the Interstate Highway System.
Upon retirement, he returned to the abstract business and Enerfin Pipeline. He also farmed and ranched throughout his life.
Grant married the love of his life, Letha Jo Smith, on May 13, 1956. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage together.
He loved his family and friends more than anything.
He enjoyed spending time hunting, dancing, traveling, attending his grandchildren's activities and Sunday dinners with his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, P.G. "Dute" Dockrey, mother, Myra Madge Dockrey, brother, Gary Bruce Dockrey, son, Zackery Grant Dockrey and grandson, Tanner Joe Dockrey.
Those left to cherish Grant's memories are his wife, Letha Jo Dockrey and their four sons, Dace Dockrey and wife Sharon, Jack Dockrey and wife Connie, Scott Dockrey and Luke Dockrey and wife Angela. His grandchildren include Shane Dockrey and wife Mandy, Clayton, Brady, Trevor, Justin, Whitney, Danielle, DaLacy and Rachel Myra Dockrey; and great grandchildren Avery Jo and Dace Zane Dockrey, and his brother, Larry Dockrey and wife Glenda, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice, especially the caregivers who gave so much love and care to him over the last few months.
The service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 2, at the Walker Funeral Chapel officiated by Darryl Witten.
The burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery, west of Shawnee.
The family will be at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. to visit with friends and family.
