JIMMY ROBERT DEATHERAGE
1963 - 2016


Jimmy Robert Deatherage, 52, of Tecumseh, passed away, Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.
He was born on July 21, 1963, in Lubbock, Texas, to Fred Gene and Fayetta Kaskaske Deatherage.
Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Tecumseh. He attended Acme school in Shawnee and Tecumseh Public Schools.
Jimmy married Christine Anne Valios in June 26, 1995.
He was a roofer and had a part in the family roofing construction business his whole life.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Virginia Fullbright, Laverna Deatherage and Dollie Johnson; three brothers, Thomas Deatherage, Randall Deatherage and LeRoy Deatherage and nephew, LeRoy Deatherage, Jr.
He is survived by Christine of the home, son, Clayton Hubbard Adams of Shawnee, two daughters, Fonda Deatherage of Shawnee and Vanessa Chism of Kansas, four grandchildren and four brothers, Lonnie Johnson of Shawnee, Victor Deatherage, Harold and Elizabeth Deatherage and Curtis Deatherage all of Tecumseh and Sister, Lois Cowsert of McLoud.
Graveside will be 2:00 on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Dale Cemetery with Rev. Lonnie Hurst officiating, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
